E | ”另外，缺乏大赛经验也是一个很关键的因素。葛曼棋认为，因为缺少大赛历练，比赛中很容易被对手的节奏带乱。“我们必须有机会经常和最高水平的人一起比赛，以赛代练才是提高的关键。”不过，苏炳添在世锦赛期间接受记者采访时，认为中国女子短跑选手与世界最高水平的差距并不像看上去那么大，现在只是要注意细节的把握，再就是需要时间。
F | “这几年，中国男女短跑进步都很快，以前很难想象会有两名女选手有资格参加世锦赛，这说明我们现在的方向不能说全对，但已经有那个苗头。这个时候应该继续保持，等到有一定的厚度，才能突破，关键是要有踏实的基础。
G | ”对于后半程的劣势，苏炳添认为自己以前也存在这个问题，但“这不是能力的问题，是节奏的问题，我为什么要把起跑脚改过来？就是换节奏”。多年前苏炳添与博尔特等欧美选手同场竞技时，他前半程经常领先，总是在后面被超越。最近几年这个问题逐渐改善，就是他节奏把握得比较好。去年东京奥运会上，苏炳添取得了历史性的突破。
H | “现在与欧美选手一起比赛，心理上已经没有畏惧感。
I | 再加上大家经常一起训练，一共就那么几个运动员，其实很多时候他们反倒会害怕你。”苏炳添说。葛曼棋表示，她和教练仔细分析了本次世锦赛比赛的情况，也找到了一些需要改进的地方，以后会有针对性地加强速度耐力训练，冬训时一定要重新训练200米，这是她以前非常反感的距离。“我们要向炳哥（苏炳添）取经，他在力量方面加强得特别多，女队应该向他好好学习。”葛曼棋说。
